Motorcyclist killed in one-vehicle crash near Max
MAX, N.D. — A motorcyclist was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon, June 2, four miles north of Max on U.S. 83, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
According to the patrol, Dawson Bressie, 32, of Minot, N.D., was traveling north on U.S. 83 at 2:56 p.m. Saturday on a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja and attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve when the motorcycle drove off the right shoulder and hit an approach. Bressie was thrown from the motorcycle and both landed in a ditch. Bressie was transported to Trinity Health in Minot, N.D., where he was pronounced dead. The Highway Patrol said there were gusty winds at the time of the accident.
